What you’ll do / Responsibility
You will design and manage cutting-edge, robust, secure, high-performance, and customer-focused solutions in your new position.
Working in a feature team, you’ll communicate with other engineers, architects, and business analysts around the platform while applying your vast knowledge to develop frequently sophisticated software, scripts, and tools.
You’ll also be doing:
- Producing vital and difficult software quickly and to a high standard, adding value to the company
- Working in permanent teams with full life cycle responsibility, covering everything from original development to maintenance and augmentation to replacement or decommissioning
- Working together to maximize our capacity for software engineering
- Creating, testing, and putting into use our functional code
- Collaborating across the whole life cycle, from designing and analyzing requirements to developing, testing, deployment, and operations
The skills you’ll need
A foundation in software engineering, software design, or architecture is required, as is an awareness of how your field of expertise benefits our clients.
Skills you’ll also need:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Working knowledge of wikis, issue tracking systems, and code repositories
- Knowledge of several programming languages
- Knowledge of the DevOps and Agile approaches, as well as the related toolkits and techniques
- Experience resolving extremely difficult analytical and numerical problems
- Programming best practices implemented with experience, particularly in the areas of scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance
