Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Enforce best practices for software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit Testing, etc.) to produce high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with the product owners to comprehend specific needs and take ownership of your code from conception to execution, test automation, and user delivery of a high-caliber solution.
- Easy-to-use design software that enables users to extend and modify the functionality to suit their own requirements
- Contribute to the creation and execution of new features and products while improving the current array of products.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 0–2+ years of experience with Java or a related OO language
- Love for JavaScript, the Web as a platform, componentization, and reusability
- Familiarity with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Familiarity with any of the contemporary UI frameworks, such as Vue, React, or Angular
- Analytical and creative abilities
- Working familiarity with and proficiency with tools (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) that help with daily chores
