Responsibilities
- Boost our automated detection and issue response capabilities.
- Create use cases for the security automation, orchestration, and response system (SOAR).
- Use various SOC tools, such as SOAR, SIEM, ticketing systems, security tools, and so on, to implement automations.
- Utilize security tools and software engineering expertise to automatically remediate phishing emails.
- Adjust alerts to minimize false positives and program alert replies.
- Work together with SRE and other security teams to resolve problems.
- Adding and enhancing warnings and other features through SIEM management
- Putting security monitoring systems in place throughout Poshmark locations
- Threat hunting to identify malevolent actions
- Utilize additional data and IOCs to enhance data
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of college, majoring in software engineering or information security.
- Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, Bash, etc.
- Strong interest in information security, including knowledge of best practices for security, current dangers, and various attacks and how to identify them.
- Knowledge of security incident response, network security, OS/system security, indicators of compromise (IoCs), vulnerabilities versus threats vs actors, etc.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Github usage
- Strong technical command of popular Internet protocols and network foundations, including DNS, HTTP, HTTPS / TLS, and SMTP
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with threat hunting, malware analysis, and incident response
- SRE or DevOps/SecDevOps experience
- GCIA or equivalent credentials
