Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript) developing software.
Preferred qualifications:
- A PhD or master’s degree in computer science or a similar technological discipline.
- Full Stack Software Development experience.
- Familiarity with standard storage services (Spanner, for example).
- Expertise in creating items related to privacy or security.
- Knowledge about Java server frameworks.
- Knowledge of front-end JavaScript, TypeScript, or Angular programming.
Responsibilities
- Work on security tools that Google employees use to maintain Google’s security.
- Create, implement, and land products requiring a basic understanding of storage, front ends, and back ends.
- Participate in rotating who is on duty and make sure the systems are operational.
- Collaborate and partner with various departments (product managers, program managers, user experience, etc.) and locations around the world.
