About The Team

One of the main responsibilities of the India Engineering Center (IEC) is to provide Thermo Fisher Scientific Global Business Units with best-in-class product development services. With more than 150 staff members, this Global Research and Development Center was founded in 2009 and is located in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. We are a team dedicated to creating cutting-edge, technologically powerful goods in the fields of laboratory apparatus, analytical tools, remote monitoring systems, chromatography, and mass spectrometry. Eligibility Criteria for Software Intern at Thermo Fisher

Eligibility
  • Bachelors Degree or a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Related fields.
Preferred Skills
  • Having a basic understanding of C++, Python, and R programming principles and techniques.
  • Exposure to basic AI concepts and image processing methods.
  • Knowledgeable about Agile development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Role of Software Intern at Thermo Fisher
  • Study and comprehend the features of the PCA business unit’s image analysis product.
  • To determine the project needs, work in the computational imaging and image analysis fields.
  • With product owners and SME’s, go over the project’s requirements and solutions.
  • Create proof of concepts (POC) for the project’s requirements/identified problem statement.
  • While creating POCs, apply the fundamentals of software development, image processing, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
  • Set up the scientific computing development environment.
  • To collaborators, periodically report on the project’s progress.
  • Practice the SDLC (Agile, V Model, Waterfall) methodology. creates and keeps accurate, thorough documentation of all work.
  • Own it with a strong sense of vitality and desire. autonomous working skills.
