Job Summary
About Role:
Working with the Continuous Product Delivery (CPD) team as a Software Engineer (SE) will be crucial to ensuring our clients receive long-term stability and last-mile satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the product, support, and core engineering teams.
You will be utilizing our on-premise data backup and management solution, Rubrik releases included. It is anticipated of you to gain a thorough understanding of our technical architecture and product, including the filesystem, metadata store, distributed task framework, and data lifecycle management.
To join our team, we are looking for a highly skilled C++ engineer that knows a little bit about Python and/or Scala. You will be in charge of creating and managing high-performance software programs using the C++ programming language in your role as a C++ developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use the C++ programming language to design, build, and manage software applications and libraries of the highest caliber.
- When necessary, create and maintain code in Scala or Python.
- Diagnose and resolve complicated software issues quickly and precisely.
- Work together with cross-functional groups to specify, create, and release new features.
- Create and update technical documentation for applications and software systems.
- Take part in code reviews and make sure that coding guidelines are followed.
- Enhance software quality on a constant basis by implementing process improvement projects.
- Stay abreast on new developments in the field of software development.
Requirements:
- two or more years of design, development, and debugging experience.
- A degree in computer science or a similar discipline, either bachelor’s or master’s.
- Proficiency in the programming languages Scala and/or Python.
- Strong debugging and programming abilities.outstanding ability to design.
- Comprehension of multithreading and distributed systems ideas.
- Ideally, possess a solid grasp of the storage domain.
- Knowledge of several different operating systems, including Windows.
- Strong familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of security principles and networking protocols.
- Familiarity with the procedures, tools, and methodologies used in software development.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity for teamwork.
