Job Description
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline design and implementation across several public cloud regions
- Creation and management of shared platform services that our SaaS solutions can use in the future
- Overall dependability, security, and safety of these services and the settings in which they operate
- Observing and assisting with these infrastructure and platform services
Responsibilities will include:
- Our Public Safety cloud solutions include key services that are designed and implemented in the areas of network, cloud, and security.
- Assist with sovereign and cloud platform operations, including problem solving and troubleshooting
- Establish and fulfill performance, security, scalability, and availability targets.
- Build and evolve key features quickly while working with product management.
- Investigate and test important designs, standards, and technologies.
- Participate in peer collaboration, prioritize features, attend daily stand-up meetings, and work quickly to give value to consumers.
- Participate in audits and evaluations carried out at different stages of the software life cycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree with some experience in Network Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Security Engineering
- Knowledge of services and cloud computing (Microsoft Azure or Amazon online Services) is advantageous. Experience with distributed systems and online architecture is also required.
- Strong preference given to experience with one or more of the following: Kubernetes cluster design and administration; Layer 3/4 networking design and management.
- Knowledge of public safety systems is advantageous.
- Strong service development and coding abilities, with knowledge of at least one of the following languages or toolkits: Python, Shell
- Create dependable, scalable, and high-quality apps by utilizing industry best practices.
- Capacity to operate in a dynamic, ever-changing, expanding, and fast-paced workplace
- High degree of interest and curiosity in learning
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities and the capacity to explain complicated subjects to non-technical audiences
- Self-driven and able to stay focused in a stressful situation
