Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Agile Product Squad, collaborating with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated QA processes while supporting cloud-native, microservices-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute automated and manual test strategies for APIs and microservices.
- Integrate testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure seamless delivery.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define quality standards and acceptance criteria (BDD, TDD, ATDD).
- Perform API testing, contract testing, and service mocking using industry-standard tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools within Agile teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (or 3+ years in a QA/Test role).
- Hands-on experience with API testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong scripting or coding skills in Java.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Good understanding of Agile software delivery methods and testing best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Kubernetes/EKS).
- Knowledge of Kafka and contract testing tools.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in global teams.
