About the role
Working behind the scenes on the system will be your responsibility as an Associate Software Engineer. It will be your responsibility to integrate the application with all necessary services and systems and to offer a clear, user-friendly API for the system’s front end.
Responsibilities
- Create reliable, functional APIs in close collaboration with front-end developers to meet both internal and external needs.
- Create automation tools for everyday tasks and write unit and integration tests.
- Write effective, well-documented, and high-quality code.
- Oversee and improve cloud-based scalable distributed systems.
- Enhance the performance and scalability of both internal and external applications.
- Write both unit and integration tests and create automated tests to make sure business requirements are satisfied.
- Keep stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers informed on the long-term technological roadmap’s progress on a frequent basis.
- Provide recommendations for systems solutions by weighing the benefits and drawbacks of both purchased and custom alternatives.
Key Skills
- 0–2 years of backend development expertise with functional programming in Scala and familiarity with common languages and frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL stores, such as Couchbase, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and database systems
- Substantial background in performance optimizing large-scale applications and developing autonomous services-oriented RESTful API services
- expertise in TypeScript and NodeJS for backend development.
- Knowledge with NestJS is beneficial but not required for server-side apps that scale.
- It is advantageous to have prior experience integrating with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular JS, etc.
- Capacity to create efficient API, integration, and unit tests
- Extensive familiarity with SOLID and other engineering principles and object-oriented programming
- It’s good to understand provisioning tools, infrastructure automation, and immutable infrastructure.

- Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to explain intricate technical ideas and synchronize an organization’s decisions
- Good problem-solving abilities and the capacity to swiftly assimilate and convey complex knowledge in an understandable manner
- Makes effective use of teamwork to generate creative solutions.
