About the Role:

Genpact is seeking motivated professionals for the role of Business Analyst – AML/KYC. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing due diligence checks on new and existing customers, reviewing documentation in line with KYC policies, conducting enhanced due diligence for high-risk entities, and identifying risks through comprehensive research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities as a Business Analyst at Genpact:

  • Review KYC documentation for corporations, charities, individuals, and other entities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk customers.
  • Conduct bank account verification, beneficiary verification, risk assessment, and assign risk ratings as per procedures.
  • Perform sanction screening, adverse media searches, and regulatory checks using relevant systems and databases.
  • Prepare detailed narrative reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate them into daily processes.
  • Handle case investigations using multiple internal tools and systems.
  • Track and resolve issues within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications for a Business Analyst role at Genpact:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree.
  • Experience in compliance, AML/KYC, investigations, audit reviews, or account reviews.
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AML/KYC processes within fintech, e-commerce, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with KYC documentation, entity structures, and ownership verification for various entity types (charities, SPVs, banks, listed/non-listed companies, etc.).
  • Strong investigative skills in adverse media screening and transaction monitoring.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC controls and regulatory frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Actimize, RDC, Fortent, Norkom, Lexis Nexis, Bridger XG, SIEBEL, Dow Jones, etc.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills with proficiency in MS Office.
